Hey there! My name is Emily Trimble and I am a junior studying Nursing. A majority of the time you can find me in scrubs headed to clinical or work. If you don’t find me there you might catch me in Sandison Hall. I am a Resident’s Assistant to the lovely students on the 9th floor. I am a very family oriented person and I claim a black lab named Deb (she’s a big baby)!
I enjoy spending my time outside and exploring new parts of the country. This summer I got the chance to go to 4 national parks (Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Glacier). The hiking and beautiful sights are better than anything that you could buy!
My platform is 10K a Day. Each and every day you should strive to get 10,000 for your health- physical and mental. As a nursing major I see all types of illnesses that could be prevented if you take the step in getting your steps. So all that hiking I got to do this past summer helped in my daily goal! You should strive for those steps yourself even if it is just walking around campus or parking in a farther parking lot!
So why am I doing the pageant? Well, I get the opportunity compete against other beautiful, driven women who want to be an ambassador for ISU. I hope you join us, the contestants, on November 12 @ 2 in University Hall to see all of the drive, intelligence, talent, and beauty we have to offer to ISU!
